About Us

TeamRoss was formed to spread awareness about organ donation shortly after Ross passed away. We are made up of Ross’s family & friends, who feel that Ross was such a fighter & believer it is only right that we continue to celebrate his life by helping others.

We are the only registered charity of our kind in the UK so feel it own duty to make as many people aware as possible about what so many people today have to go through & how you could help them.

Organ donation is something that can save some ones life after you have gone. There are still millions of people in this country who are not on the national donor register but could still be making a difference. A difference we could all end up needing one day.

Organ donation is often something we don’t give a second thought to, until we are personally affected by someone requiring an organ. We aim to give people the information to make an informed choice prior to that realisation.

Re-launch!

Hi all,

Just letting you know the new Team Ross website is re-launched!

Fund raising update: 2009

To all the Companies who have supported us either by sponsorship, donating prizes or attending events we extend our sincere thanks.
We consider this year to have been a huge success, in that we not only raised funds but more importantly the awareness of Organ Donation, encouraging a further 500 people to join the Organ Donation Register. This now brings the total to an incredible 1,200 people. A wonderful achievement, none of this would have been possible without the help of so many people. Last but by no means least a huge thank you to the Team Ross Committee, for their help and dedication in organising events, you will see from our reports that we have raised £6,000 this year bringing us to a grand total of £34,000.

Fishing Competition 2008: Review

The Competition took place at Herne Farm on 14th September 2008; it was a beautiful sunny day. A buffet at the Brammingham Pub followed where games and a raffle were held. The overall prize went to Andrew Elliott landing the biggest fish, 2nd place went to Darren Evans and 3rd to Steve Clapp. The event raised £500 and we are happy to report that Whitbread PLC, a leading hospitality company in the budget Hotel and Restaurant sector donated £500 as raise and match funding to Denise Clarke.
